The artist Professionally known as SmittenKittenTx, is a San Antonio, Texas-based artist. Her diverse practice encompasses relief printing, spray paint/stencil work, 3D sculpting, woodworking, and doll making. 

Her art is heavily inspired by her upbringing along the US/Mexico border, exploring core themes of socio-economic issues, indigenous identity and culture, environmental concerns, animal rights, and veganism. 

Her work has been exhibited across the United States in various galleries and projects, including recent showings at A05 gallery (Austin, TX), BlkWhtGry (San Antonio), Secret Gallery (Albuquerque), Munzon Gallery (Long Beach), Time before Death (New Orleans), Red Truck Gallery (New Orleans), Eastside Print Fair (Los Angeles), ZineMercado (Chicago), and the Oso Bay Biennial Print Festival (Corpus Christi). Alex Gross, an artist based in Portland, Oregon, earned his BFA with honors from Art Center College of Design in 1990. He is a recipient of the prestigious Artist's Fellowship from the Japan Foundation, as well as several faculty grants from Art Center College of Design, where he taught from 1994 to 2005. He has had ten solo exhibitions and participated in dozens of group exhibitions. His work is featured in important collections all over the world, from Istanbul to Mexico City. There have been six published books of Alex’s artwork. His most recent book is “Prison Of The Mind, Paintings By Alex Gross 2014-2023,” published by Gingko Press in August 2024.
